Elmer Cummings Services Held

Elmer L. Cummings, 76, of Maxwell died of a heart ailment Friday, Dec. 19, in Mesa, Ariz. Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 22, at Loring Methodist Church. Burial was in the Collins Evergreen Cemetery in Collins.

Mr. Cummings was born in Maxwell and was a retired farmer.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth; two daughters, Shirley Sesker of Marengo and Marilyn Petersen of Ottawa, Kan.; a sister, Pearl "Polly" Jay of Mingo and 17 grandchildren. ~ The Jasper County Tribune, Dec 25, 1986
