The sad news was just received that Mrs. F. C. page is dead. Mrs. Page is better known as Miss Rose Goodrich, who was married to Mr. Page about thirteen months ago. A telegram was received a week ago that Mrs. Page and baby were doing well, but just four days from that time another dispatch came announcing her death. Full particulars have not as yet been learned. Rose was one of Jasper county’s best girls and after her marriage she and her husband moved to Lenox, S.D., where he was employed as principal in the public school and was just starting on his second term when Mrs. Page’s death occurred. The remains were taken to Des Moines last Friday, where the funeral was held at 2 p.m.; and was laid to rest in the Riverside cemetery, as it was her last request, and the Mrs. Geo. Goodrich to take her little baby girl. It was brought here and is doing nicely.
