Former Resident's Grandson Died

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Feb. 5, in Valparaiso, Ind. for Jason Crawford, grandson of Mrs. Walter (Genevieve) Stremfel Crawford, a former Colfax resident, and the late Walter Crawford.

Jason, 21, a tight end for the Purdue University football team, died following an altercation in which he was struck in the temple in West Lafayette, Ind. Saturday, Feb. 1. ~ The Jasper County Tribune, Thursday, February 20, 1992
