Mrs. Alden Routh Dies April 17th

Mrs. Alden (Lillie M.) Routh, 78, of Des Moines, a former resident of Baxter for approximately 12 years, died Monday, April 17, at mercy Hospital in Des Moines.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 20, at Fredricks Funeral Home in New Richland, Minnesota. Burial was in St. Peter's Cemetery in New Richland.

Survivors are her husband; a son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Gale Routh of Newton; a daughter, Mrs. Carl (Eunice) Amos of Des Moines; five grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers and a son Glen in 1948.

The daughter of Stephen and Theresa Weckwerth, she was born November 11, 1899, at New Richland, Minnesota. ~ The Jasper County Tribune, Colfax, Iowa 50054, Thursday, April 27, 1978
