A funeral service for Riley W. Roberts, 86, of Pella will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the First Reformed Church in Pella.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the church. Friends are invited to join the family for lunch at noon in the church fellowship hall.
Burial will take place at the Newton Memorial Cemetery.
The Pella Garden Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Riley Willard Roberts was born to Charley and Katharine (Riley) Roberts, on October 28, 1923, near Prairie City, Iowa. He passed away at his home on the morning of Thursday, September 23, 2010, at the age of eighty-six.
Riley was united in marriage with Barbara (Bobbie) Moon on June 16, 1946. They were blessed with two children, Forrest and Joan. Barbara passed away on September 10, 2002, after fifty-six years of marriage. On November 24, 2007, Riley was united in marriage with Helen (Ver Steegh) Helm at the First Reformed Church in Pella.
Riley had a love for airplanes and flying. For many years he was a commercial pilot, retiring in 1988. He enjoyed his flying and also loved to square dance. He was a member of the First Reformed Church in Pella. He was also a member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, Experimental Aircraft Association, and the Kiwanis Club.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Helen; his two children: Forrest (Marilyn) Roberts of Lake-in-the-Hills, Illinois and Joan (John) Cisna of Springfield, Missouri; many grandchildren; sister, Helene Rusk of Sun Lakes, Arizona and brother, Edward Roberts of Cummings, Georgia.
Preceding him in death are his parents, his wife Barbara and many uncles, aunts, and cousins.
