LOUIS EFFERDING

MAQUOKETA, Ia. – Louis Efferding, 74, retired Maquoketa farmer, died Wednesday at his home.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Carson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Surviving are his wife, Florence; two sons, William R., Maquoketa, Harlan, Des Moines; one daughter, Mrs. Thelma Thamke, Centerville; two brothers, Charles, Coffeeville, Kan., and George, Bellevue; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Michels, Bellevue, Mrs. Nellie Purvis, Edmond, Calif., Mrs. Julia Sutton, Oklahoma City, Mrs. Delia Martin, White Lake, S. D.
