Last Rites Held for Irvin Tracy

Irvin A. Tracy, 76, Monmouth farmer, died last Tuesday evening in the Jackson County Public hospital. Funeral was held Saturday at 12:45 p.m. in the Carson funeral home with burial in Mr. Hope cemetery.

He was born Mar. 25, 1882, in Jackson county, son of Nathan and Arilla Green Tracy. On Feb. 1, 1905, he married Anna Steffey, who survives. In addition to his widow, he is survived by a son, Lloyd of Monmouth, six daughters, Thelma Brundage of Victoria, Tex., Gladys Clark of Valley Springs, Calif., Mrs. Delbert Brundage of Baraboo, Wisc., Mrs. Alvin Jensen of LaMotte, Mrs. Fay Olivine, Emeline, and Mrs. Gary Schmidt of Monticello and 21 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. His parents, a son and a daughter preceded him in death.
