HAMPTON-Delores Ann Orr, 75, of Hampton died Sunday, June 2, 2002, at the Franklin General Hospital in Hampton. Services were held Tuesday, June 4 at the United Methodist Church in Hampton with burial in the Hampton Cemetery. Rev. Jerry Miller officiated.

Delores was born Sept. 29, 1926, at Alexander to Guy and Eva Roed Simons. She graduated from Hampton High School and on April 15, 1945, she married Junior Orr at Hampton. She was a homemaker and a member of the Hampton Methodist Church. She was a member of the Good Luck Club, the Butterfly Group, several card groups including the Hospital Auxiliary Marathon Bridge and "500" groups.

She is survived by two sons, Jon and wife Debra of Leesburg, Fla., and Joel and wife Kim of Hampton; a daughter, DeeAnn Sinclair, and husband Gary of Indianola and daughter-in-law Donna Smith of Bogue Chitto, Mass.; a sister, Rosalyn Symens, of Hampton; two brothers, Newman Simons of Hampton and Lowell Simons of Milford; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Jerry; and two brothers, Arvon and Larry Simons.

Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home of Hampton was in charge of arrangements.
