IOWA FALLS-Dwight Frederick Meyer, 64, of Iowa Falls, died of atrial fibrillation Thursday, May 30, 2002, at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines. He was an organ donor and the remains will be cremated. There will be a memorial service at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Iowa Falls, Monday, June 3 at 10:30 a.m. Private burial will be at a later date.

Dwight was born May 21, 1938, at Latimer to Frederick and Magaret De Bour Meyer. He graduated from Redlands High School in California in 1957. On Feb. 14, 1964, he married Jessie "Judy" Schweertmann in Geneva. He spent many years as an over-the-road truck driver and owner operator. He retired due to bad health. He was a member of M.S.R.A. and enjoyed going to car shows with his 1949 Chevy pickup. He also enjoyed attending swap meets and collecting toys.

He is survived by his wife, Judy of Iowa Falls; his mother, Margaret of Mentone, Calif.; four brothers, Marlan of Hampton, Charles of Metone, Calif., William of Jerome, Idaho, and David of Clear Lake, Calif.; two sisters, Margaret Moffitt and Janice Wright, both of Highland, Calif.; and a half sister, Kathryn Reinhardt of Fairbault, Minn.
