ALDEN-Erna M. Heinzeroth, 86, of Alden died Tuesday, May 28, 2002, at Scenic Manor Nursing Home in Iowa Falls. Services were held Friday, May 31, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Iowa Falls with burial in the Alden Cemetery. Rev. Kenneth Krueger officiated.

Erna was born May 7, 1916, at Hubbard to Herman and Minna Maronn Zoske. She graduated from Hubbard High School and on March 1, 1939, she married George Heinzeroth at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Iowa Falls. She and her husband farmed in the Alden area for 29 years until her husband's death in 1967. Erna was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church and she made baptismal napkins, communion cloths and altar cloths for the church.

She is survived by two sisters, Martha Wolf of Hampton, and Minnie Timm of Cincinnati, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; four sisters, Elfreda Reinert, Margaret Winter, Elsbeth Lettow and Frances Winter; three brothers, Carl, William and Fred Zoske.

Surls Funeral Home of Iowa Falls was in charge of arrangements.
