HAMPTON-Gladys Marie Lee, 78, of Hampton, died Monday, May 13, 2002, at North Iowa Mercy Health Center in Mason City. Services will be held Thursday, May 16 at 10 a.m. at Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home in Hampton, with burial in the Hampton Cemetery. Rev. Karl Bollhagen will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services on Thursday.
Gladys was born Sept. 19, 1923, at rural Hampton, to Ralph and Marie Mutzel Miller. She attended Hampton schools and in 1964 married William Lee. She was a nurses aid and a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Hampton.
She is survived by a stepson, Jay Lee of Mason City; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Michael Pocock of Clear Lake, and Mrs. Tom Trose of Webster, Minn.; one niece and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Gary Lee Maricle; and a brother.
