ELDORA-Phyllis R. Cook, 74, formerly of Union, died Monday, April 29, 2002, at Valley View Nursing Center, Eldora, where she had been a resident for the past six years.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, May 2, at 1:30 p.m. at Union Community Church with Rev. Rick Shill officiating. There will be no visitation as her body was donated to the University of Iowa in Iowa City. The Biersborn Funeral Home of Union, has been entrusted with her arrangements. A memorial fund has been established to the Union Public Library in her name.
