H. P. GUDALL DIED TUESDAY
At the ripe old age of 88 years and 24 days, Mr. Hans P. Gudall has ended a useful and well lived life, having passed away at the home of his son, Hans O. Hanson*, in Jewell, Tuesday night of this week, June 12th, 1917, at 11:45 P. M. Death came from hardening of the arteries and asthma, from which he has been in failing health and for some time it has been known that his death might result at any time. Tuesday evening he had a severe attack but rallied, an shortly before midnight he passed away, death coming so quietly and peacefully that it was hard to realize that he was not merely sleeping.
