Mrs. Jens Hustoft Dead

Mrs. Jens Hustoft passed away early Tuesday morning, April 15th, at her home in Jewell, death resulting after a week's serious sickness from pneumonia, following a long period of ill health. Funeral services will be conducted this afternoon, at one o'clock, from Bethesda Lutheran church, the pastor, Rev. Norstad, officiating. The body will be laid at rest in Evergreen cemetery.

Martha Serena Osmundson was 76 years, 3 months and 25 days of age at the time of her death. She came to America in 1872 and in the same year was married to Mr. Jens Hustoft. They have always resided in or near Jewell and are well known and held in the highest esteem by hosts of friends in this vicinity. Mrs. Hustoft as a member of Bethesda Lutheran church and has been always a faithful, true and earnest Christian woman. She is survived by her husband and on daughter, Mrs. John Sanscore [should be Sansgord], living near Jewell, to whom the deepest sympathy of all in the community is extended in their time of bereavement.
