JOE SEXY DIED AT ELLSWORTH

Joe Sexy, 78, for 49 years a resident of the Ellsworth community, died at his home there Saturday morning. Mr. Sexy has been ill almost constantly since he broke his leg nearly two years ago.

He was born in Hardanger, Norway, Jan. 18, 1855, and came to Illinois with his parents when 13 years old. On June 28 he had been married 54 years.

He leaves to mourn his death his wife and seven children: Mrs. Evelyn Olson, Harvey Sexy of Hibbing, Minn., Mrs. Osmund Soppeland, Mrs. Arthur Hultman of Rockwell City; Mrs. Godfrey Thoreson of Randall, and Mrs. John Krogstie. Also 18 grand children, one brother, Nels Sexy, and one sister, Mrs. Henry Thompson.

Funeral services were held at Trinity church in Ellsworth Monday afternoon and burial in Homewood cemetery.
