Delores Gingery, 94, Webster City, died Sunday, August 20, 2000 at Crestview Manor Care Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church with Rev. John Flaherty, celebrant. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery.

Delores Hillistad, daughter of Ross and Stella Johnson Hillistad, was born March 4, 1906 at Granite City, Ill. She attended schools in the St. Louis, Mo. She move to Iowa in 1929. On April 2, 1934 she married Robert S. Gingery at St. Louis, Mo. The couple resided in Webster City. She had been employed at the First American Bank for many years, retiring in the early 1970s. Mr. Gingery died on May 18, 1975. She moved to Crestview Apartments and in 1993, moved to Crestview Manor.

Survivors are a nephew and niece, David Hillistad and Sandra Kitchen, both of St. Louis, cousin, Helen Anderson, Boone, and sister-in-law, Ruth Eversz of Hemet, Calif. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.

She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters of America, Webster City Women's Club, Hamilton Hospital Auxiliary, Town and Country Garden Club an Beta Sigma Phi.
