Monday, August 21, 2000Margaret Day, 64, Kamrar, died Thursday, August 17, 2000 at Hamilton Hospital. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Cass Center Cemetery with Rev. Richard Laird officiating. Visitation will be held at the Foster Funeral Home two hours before the service.
Margaret Trask, daughter of Glen and Elsie Benton Trask, was born Dec. 27, 1935 on a farm northeast of Lehigh. She attended the Blachard rural school, south of Duncombe. In April of 1963, she married James Day at Clarion. They were later divorced. She had worked at the Knight Bakery, the Gold Room and the Second Street Emporium. She retired due to failing health.
Survivors are her sisters, Catherine Redling of Webster City, Bessie Holder of Kamrar, Glenda Harris of Jewell, brothers, Fred Trask of Webster City, Lee Trask of Lehigh, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Glen Day in Sept. 1983.
She attended Newcastle Church of Christ.
