MOLINE, Ill. - James R. Kutsch, 64, of Moline, died Tuesday, July 11, 2006, at Trinity Medical Center, West, Rock Island.

Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at De Roo Funeral Home, Moline, and at noon Friday at Sacred Heart Church, Moline, where he was a member. Burial will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Dubuque. Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home, where there will be a rosary at 4:30 p.m.

Mr. Kutsch worked for the United States Corps of Engineers as a logistics coordinator, retiring in 2000.

He was born on July 17, 1941, in Dubuque, son of George and Eleanor Gorman Kutsch. He married the former Connie Dunne on Feb. 28, 1976, in Dubuque; she preceded him in death in 1987.

He was a veteran of the Air Force, serving during the Vietnam War.

Surviving are a daughter, Sarah Kutsch, of Moline; a son, Steven Kutsch, of Alexandria, Va.;, a sister, Barb; and six brothers, Patrick, Mike, Robert, Richard, Thomas and Dave.

Memorials may be given to the church.
