Services for George L. Kutsch, 76, 2568 Jackson St., will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Entombment will be in Resurrection Gardens Mausoleum at Mount Calvary Cemetery, where there will be a Flag Presentation by the American Legion Post 6 of Dubuque. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today at Ed Siegert-Al Didesch Colonial Funeral Home, 390 N. Grandview Ave., where there will be a parish wake service at 5 p.m.

Mr. Kutsch worked at Hilldale Dairy for 30 years.

He was born on Feb. 14, 1920, in Dubuque, son of Roger and Helen (Hanning) Kutsch. He died at 4:40 p.m. Thursday, July 4, 1996, at home.

He married Elinor Gorman on Feb. 22, 1941, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church.

He was a World War II Navy veteran, where he was a baker in the service. He was a loyal member of the Teamster's Union. He was a loving husband and father and enjoyed his retirement. He also had fun with and became interested in film making. He worked as an extra on two feature films.

Surviving are his wife, Elinor (Gorman) Kutsch; seven sons, James Kutsch, of Moline, Ill., Thomas (Roberta) Kutsch, of Scotts Valley, Calif., David (Linda) Kutsch, of Hueytown, Ala., Richard (Jan) Kutsch, of Galena, Ill., Patrick Kutsch, of Dubuque, Michael (Lynn) Kutsch, of Attleboro, Mass., and Robert Kutsch, of Santa Cruz, Calif.; a daughter, Barbara Trierweiler, of Dubuque; six grandsons and six granddaughters; a brother, Roger (Deeann) Kutsch, of Dubuque; and three sisters, Mrs. Gladys Walton and Mrs. Betty (Jim) Hoffmann, both of Dubuque, and Mrs. Mary Earle, of Grand Coulee, Wash.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Kutsch.

A George L. Kutsch Memorial Fund has been established.
