ZWINGLE, Iowa - Geraldine E. "Geri" (Dunne) Foust, 80, of Zwingle, died Monday, Nov. 23, 2009, at Mercy Medical Center-Dubuque, after a courageous battle with cancer.

In keeping with Geri's wishes, there will be no visitation. Graveside services will be at noon today at Assumption Cemetery, Sylvia Switch, rural Zwingle, followed by a luncheon and fellowship. The Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road, Dubuque, is in charge of arrangements.

Surviving are her loving husband of 59 years, Gene; their beloved children and spouses, Gene Jr., Jim and Sharon, Gary and Colleen, Dina and Dan Seifert, Duane and Brenda, Tressa and Martin Manders; cherished grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and her dear sister, Marie, and husband. Bob Dierks.

She was preceded in death by their son, Calvin; her parents, James and Catherine (Entringer) Dunne; and brothers, Martin and William.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hospice of Dubuque in memory of Geri.
