Harriette Lane, 1109 Middle Street, Mediapolis, will celebrate her 85th birthday August 29. A family celebration will be today.
She was born in Mediapolis in 1907 to William J. and Grace (Hutchcroft) Breuer. In 1929, she married Howard Lane and they farmed their entire life in the Mediapolis area.
She has a daughter, Leola Brechtel, Freeport, IL and three grandchildren, Alane, Andra and Ashly Brechtel, all of Freeport.
