Grace Breuer

Mrs. W. J. "Grace" (Hutchcroft) Breuer, wife of W. J. Breuer, died at her home three miles north of Mediapolis at 9:45 Monday night after an illness of several months.

She was born in Des Moines county Oct. 20, 1883 and was a life resident of the community. Thirty-two years ago, she was married to Mr. Breuer. Mrs. Breuer was a member of Mediapolis Methodist church and of the aid society and Berean Sunday school class.

Surviving besides her husband are: a daughter, Mrs. Howard Lane, Mediapolis; two sons, Chester and Dale at home; three sisters, Mrs. Will Meyers of Kellerton, IA, Mrs. Oran Asby of Yarmouth and Mrs. Craig Dodds of Wapello; and three brothers, Chandler, Lewis and Frank Hutchcroft, Mediapolis. One granddaughter, Lila Jean, a son, Charles, two sisters and one brother preceded Mrs. Breuer in death.

Funeral services will be held from the residence at 1 p.m. Thursday followed by services at the Mediapolis Methodist church at 1:30 p.m. conducted by the Rev. William Slach pastor of the church. Burial will be in Kossuth cemetery.

The body was removed to the residence near Mediapolis from the Burnett-Wallen funeral home this afternoon.
