Judy Burr

Judy Ann Burr, 55, of Burlington Care Center, Burlington, formerly of Guthrie Center, died at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3, 1997, at Burlington Medical Center.

Born Aug. 23, 1942, in Panora, she was the daughter of Howard and Jessie Sturvedant Brain. On May 16, 1987, she married William Allen Burr in Burlington. He died July 20, 1993.

Mrs. Burr was a graduate of Bagley High School in Bagley. She was a homemaker.

She attended Assembly of God Church of Burlington and was a member of the American Association of Retired Persons.

Survivors include one son, David Wendt, of Atlantic; two stepgrandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren; one brother, Darwin Badger of Guthrie Center; and one sister, Arletta Raymer of Panora.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:30 p.m. today at Lunning Chapel.

The graveside funeral for Mrs. Burr will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, in Carman Cemetery, Carman, Ill., with the Rev. David Mixon officiating.

A memorial has been established.
