WHEELING, Ill. - Mrs. Ruth M. Swanson, 63, of Galesburg died at 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 11 at the Wheeling home of her son Michael. An earlier obituary listed the place of her death as Holy Family hospital, Des Plaines.
Survivors: Two sons, Michael, Wheeling, Gary, Galesburg; three brothers, Earl Nicholas, Chicago, William Nicholas, Tucson, Ariz., George Nicholas, Denver, Colo.; two sisters, Leona Garner, Chicago, Edna Pohl, Burlington, Iowa.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday, Hinchliff-Pearson-West chapel, Galesburg; Memorial Park cemetery, Galesburg.
