WILTON - Raymond Schroeder Jr. (sic Sr.) of Wilton died Thursday, July 7, at the Wilton Nursing Home. He was 81.
He was born in Danville Dec. 10, 1895 to Charles and Ida Schroeder. He married Jessie Fisher of Danville on July 25, 1917. He fought in WWI in France and was a retired farmer and graduate of the Burlington Business college. He moved to Wilton in 1940. He was a member of the United Methodist Church.
Surviving: the wife, three sons, Carroll, Raymond Jr., and Kennard, all of Wilton; one brother, Melvin of Downing, Mo.; one sister, Mable Johnson of Burlington; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Monday, United Methodist Church in Wilton; Oakdale Cemetery.
