Mrs. Brockway Passes away at Oakville

Oakville, Ia., Jan. 9.-- Mrs. Esther Brockway died at the home of her daughter Mrs. Claude Sheridan Tuesday afternoon following a two weeks illness with pneumonia. Her husband died Feb. 18, 1930 and since that time she has been making her home with her children.

In addition to her daughter Mrs. Sheridan, she is survived by four sons, Harley of Oakville; Fred and Frank of Mediapolis; Arthur of Wapello; a sister, Mrs. Ida Ogden of Nevada, Mo.; two brothers, Pearl Gordon of Chicago; and Henry Gordon of Burlington; and 15 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held from the Kingston M.E. church Thursday afternoon at 1 o'clock with burial in Kossuth cemetery.
