Frederick P. Brakeville
Dallas City, Ill. - Frederick P. Brakeville, 84, Dallas City, died at 9:50 a.m. Saturdaym Feb. 21, at LaHarpe hospital.

He was born in Kampsville, Ill., Feb. 9, 1897, to Charles and Rachel Luzader Brakeville. He married Velva Davis at Ft. Madison, April 21, 1920. They lived in Dallas City for 51 years. He worked for 16 years with the Ft. Madison waterworks maintenance department, retiring in 1961.

Surviving: his wife; four sons, Cecil, Sarasota, Fla.; Beverley, Burlington, Iowa; Richard, Cedar Park, Texas, and Gene, Dallas City; three daughters, Mrs. Audrey Nieventhal, Cedar Park, Texas; Mrs. Mildred(Mickey)Cooper, Ft. Madison, and Mrs. Nancy Burrow, Ranger, Texas; 27 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren; brother, Truman, Moscow Mills, Mo.; sister, Jennie Rentfrow, Acton, Calif.

Funeral: 2p.m. Tuesday, Banks & Beals funeral home, Dallas City, Mrs. Mary Boyer, Harris Cemetery, near Dallas City. A memorial fund has been established.
