Louise F. Bertlshofer

Mrs. Louise F. Bertlshofer, 89, long-time Burlington resident, died Friday, Feb.20, at St. Francis hospital, Peoria, Ill. where she has been a patient for 1 1/2 years.

She was born at Dodgeville Dec. 29, 1891 to John and Mathilda Beckman Schulte. She married Martin J. Bertlshofer Oct. 2, 1928 at Dodgeville, he died Oct. 17, 1972.

She was a member of St. John Catholic church, Catholic Women's League and Altar and Rosary Society.

Surviving two daughters, Mrs. Frederick(Roseanne)DeGraw, South Laguna, Calif., Mrs James(Susan) Knight, Peoria, Ill.; two sons, Philip Bertlshofer, Costa Mesa, Calif., and Louise, Ft. Collins, Colo.; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; brother, Henry Schulte, Burlington; three sisters, Henriette Schulte and Antoinette Schulte, both of Dodgeville and Mrs. Nellie Dugan, Rock Island, Ill.

Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday, St. John Catholic Church, Fr. Donald Redmond, Sacred Heart Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Prugh's chapel.
