H.L. Springsteen

Mr. Harry Lloyd Springsteen, 69, Kingston, died in Burlington hospital at 4:45 p.m. Saturday.

He was born in Des Moines County, in Aug. 15, 1894, the son of Andrew J. and Lydia J. Haynes Springsteen. He was a veteran of World War I.

Mr. Springsteen was married to Bessie Farrington in Burlington on Nov. 9, 1917. He was of the Methodist faith.

Besides his wife, Mr. Springsteen is survived by six sons and five daughters; Harry Lloyd Springsteen, Jr., Richard Springsteen, Dale Springsteen, Larry Springsteen and Kenneth Springsteen, all of Burlington; Delbert Springsteen, Cedar Rapids; Mrs. Louis Coen, Mrs. R. Peck, Mrs. Cecil Reynolds, Mrs. J. Eberhart and Mrs. R. Dobson, all of Burlington.

Last rites will be held at the Prugh Chapel at 2 p.m. Tuesday.
