Mrs. Mary Jacques Lowe, 87, a former resident of Hopkinton, passed away, Wednesday, Jan 29 at Monticello. Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 1 at 9:30 a.m. at the Sacred Heart church at Monticello. Burial was in Oakland cemetery.
The former Mary Miller, she was born and reared in this vicinity.She married Frank Jacques and made her home in Monticello for many years. Mr. Jacques passed away in 1920 and she later married Sidney Lowe who died in 1948.
Surviving are one son Rey Jacques of Monticello: one daughter, Mrs Zearl Leinen of Cedar Rapids and one brother, Vincent Miller of Hopkinton.
