Edgewood Special:
Funeral services for Joseph Sharp Sr. were held at the Congregational church in Edgewood Sunday Feb. 2 at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Murlin Hansel in charge. Burial was made in the Edgewood cemetery.
Mr. Sharp, 94, pased away Jan. 30, after a lingering illness due to his advanced age.
He is survived by his wife and three children, Earl Sharp of Edgewood; Mrs. Elsie Evans of Emerson and Fern Sharp of Elkader and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Music at the service was furnished by Glen Fobes with Miss Forward accompaning. Casket bearers were grandsons of the deceased, Wayne Sharp, Joe Sharp, Merle Sharp, Gene Sharp, Robert Evans and Arnold Evans.
