Mrs. Frank Heiring, 78, of Earlville died in the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Cletus Nachtman, who live northeast of Earlville, on Thursday, Jan. 30. Death was due to a heart attack. Before moving to Earlville, Mr. and Mrs. Heiring lived on a farm south of Dyersville. She was born on a farm near Dyersville, Dec. 23, 1879.
Mrs. Heiring is survived by her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Cletus (Elizabeth) Nachtman and seven grandchildren. Mrs. Heiring was a member of St. Joseph's church in Earlville and the Ladies Guild of that church. The Clifton Funeral home at Earlville was in charge of arrangements.
Final rites were held at St. Joseph's church at Earlville at 9 a.m. Monday with the burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery here. The pastor, the Rev. Louis Grunawald officiated at the services. Rosary was said at the Clifton Funeral home on Saturday and Sunday evenings.
