Hazel L. Edmunds, 65, native Manchester resident and lifelong resident here, passed away at her home at 720 E. Howard street in Manchester Saturday, apparently of a cerebral hemorrhage suffered in her sleep during the early morning hours.
Funeral services for Miss Edmunds were held at the Shelly funeral home at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. James J. Stroh officiating. Burial was made in the family lot in Oakland cemetery.
Hazel Lucille Edmunds, daughter of Charles Edmunds and Cora Loomis Edmunds, was born March 2, 1905, at Manchester. She grew to young womanhood here and received her education in the schools of Manchester. Following her schooling she lived here with her parents until their passing and then she continued to make her home here.
She was a member of the Community Congregational church of Manchester.
Miss Edmunds is survived by one brother, Clark Edmund of Clearwater, Fla., a niece, Mrs. Calvin (Ann) Francis of Aiken, S.C., and by several other more distant relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
