Fred Foxen, 35, dies in accident
Earlville: Fred L. Foxen, 35, an Aurora, Colo. resident, died Saturday morning, Dec. 19, as a result of an automobile accident.
Services will be held Thursday at St. Joseph's Catholic church in Earlville with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today (Wednesday), at the Clifton funeral home in Earlville where the scripture wake service will be held at 8:30 p.m.
Fred L. Foxen, son of Al and Mildred (Kelchen) Foxen, was born in Dyersville, July 13, 1946. He attended St. Joseph grade school and graduated from Xavier high school in Dyersville in 1964.
He moved to Denver, Colo. in 1969 where on Dec. 30, 1971 he was married to Nancy L. Tibljas. He served in the United Stated Air Force and the Air Force reserve for six years. At the time of his death he was employed as biochemical medical engineer as a data medix.
He is survived by his wife, one son, Jason, 9; one daughter, Kimberlie Ann, 6; his parents, Al and Mildred Foxen; two sisters, Mrs. Lewis (Bonnie) Dowell and Mary Beth Foxen of Dubuque, and two brothers Steven L. Foxen of Dubuque and Jeff P. Foxen, at home.
Clifton funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
