Two of Elijah & Mary Ann Henson-Ingle's children died in Perry, Davis Co., IA. in 1857.

Melvina F. Ingle died on 14 Oct 1857 at age 3 years, 7 months, 5 days.

James Lemuel Ingle died on 07 Oct 1857 at age 1 year, 4 months, 1 day.

They loss two of their children within a week.

Does anyone know if there was a epidemic at that time?

I am also looking for a possible burial site for these two infants.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
