My husband's great grandfather was Philip Wells, who was a son of Samuel Duncan Wells and Matilda (Brunk)Wells. Samuel and Matilda had about ten children. We have an old red velvet picture album presented to Philip from his sister Nancy. There are taken in the 1800's.There are several really good old pictures in this album, taken in Bloomfield, Iowa, by the photographs Reeves Bros. Also others by Dunlop. We cannot identify many of these Wells because there are no names on the backs of the pictures. If you have any Wells pictures you could send me that you had identified, I would love some copies.
