Ida Anderson Haldeen Mrs. Emil Haldeen 1883 - 1945

Mrs. Ida Wilhelmina Haldeen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Erick Anderson was born in Hayes township, Ida County, 4 March 1883 and passed away Easter Sunday 1 April 1945 at 11:00am at her home. Mrs Haldeen grew to womanhood in Hayes township and lived there all her life with the exception of the first two years which was spent at Lawton. She was confirmed in Bethel Lutheran church, 26 July 1896. She was united in marriage to Emil Haldeen in Ida Grove 25 march 1913. To this union four children were born, three sons and one daughter. Leslie, Emil and Myrtle. Irene passes away in infancy.

Mrs. Haldeen’s health had been quite poorly the past five years due to heart trouble. She had been failing quite rapidly the past four months and had been bedfast part of that time. Her condition became critical Wednesday March 28 and grew rapidly worse until she passed away. She leaves to mourn her departure, her husband, Emil Haldeen; two sons, Glen and Vern; one brother, Addic Anderson of Ida county and one sister, Mrs. Alma Anderson, Crawford county.

Funeral services were conducted at the Arthur Baptist church Friday April 6. Burial was in Hayes township cemetery. The pall bearers were Robert Hewitt; Earl Linquist, William O. Noll, Lambert Bergin, Frank Hietman, and Edwin Carlson.
