The sudden death of Miss Jennie Anderson was a great surprise to the people of the community. Miss Anderson has been ailing for some time and last week went to Norfolk where she entered the Lutheran Hospital Friday and underwent an operation Saturday for gall stones. The operation was apparently successful and Miss Anderson spent a very restful night.

Before the operation the doctors were sure that there was no reason why she could not stand the operation but Saturday morning there was a sign of weakening of the heart and this grew gradually worse. Death came at 7:20 Sunday morning.
The complete obituary will be printed next week.

Funeral services will be held at the house at 2:30 and at the Free Mission Church at 3 Thursday afternoon.

The sympathy of the reporter and the community is with the bereaved brother and sisters and other relatives.
