Funeral services were held at I p.m. at Mattes funeral home and at 2 p.m. at the Baptist Church at Arthur on Thursday March 5,1953 for Mrs. N. Bergman.

Ida Elizabeth Bergman was born October 14,1887 to Mr. and Mrs. Anders Larson in Foling, Jemtland, Sweden. She died March 2,1953 at the age of 65 years, 4 months, 16 days. Her first twenty years were spent in her homeland, but in 1907 she sailed to America and her first home was near Arthur, Iowa. In 1943 she moved to Odebolt.

She married Nels Bergman December 18,1908. To this union was born; Floyd of Kiron, Donald of Arthur, Gene and Isabelle (Mrs. Niles Meltesen) of Odebolt, lone (Mrs. Donald Seaberg) of Minneapolis, MN, Carl and Doris (Mrs. Irving Donaldson) of Vista, CA, and Elsie (Mrs. Larry Rogneby) of Seattle, WA.

She also leaves a sister Marie (Mrs. William Berg) of Minneapolis, and five brothers, Paul Anderson of Minneapolis, MN, Lars, Jonas, Albert and Oliver all of Jemtland, Sweden. She also leaves twenty grandchildren. Her parents and two sisters who died in Sweden preceded her in death.
