Joseph Stephenson family -DeWitt 1857-1863

Joseph & Sophia Stephenson immigrated from Lincolnshire, England to the DeWitt area around 1857 and moved to a farm in Rock Island County, IL before August 1863. Known children are: Joseph M., Earnest C. (K?), Hellen, Josiah and Charles E. In the 1860 Clinton Co, IA census they are listed as Stevens instead of Stephenson. Joseph, the oldest son, enlisted in the civil war and they listed him as Joseph M. Stevenson for the Iowa 26th Volunteers Co F. Joseph M. was naturalized due to his service in the war but I haven't found any naturalization papers on the others. I'm not sure but suspect that George Stephenson and family are related to Joseph and Sophia Stephenson. Does any one have more information on this family? Are there any deaths listed in or near a DeWitt cemetery for any Stephenson's? Any suggestions to give me a lead in the right direction is very appreciated!
