Marriage license issued Mary 1877 (Observer Index at Central Community Historical Society, DeWitt, Iowa) Uncertain if maiden name was McCord as the Observer Index for 13 April 1877 indicates "Mrs." Ellen McCard. She was 33 at the time of marriage and Parker was nearly 60. Information from 1880 Census for Clinton County. Father shows born in ME and mother in MO.

The 1880 census also shows William Sipp, age 12, and stepson to Parker. His father was born in IL and mother in IA.
