We think my grandmother and her parents (and possibly her stepfather) lived in Clinton, Iowa from 1879-1884. Their names are as follows: Julius H.W. ERPS, and his brother, John ERPS and Anna Margareta PAULSEN, who was first married to John. When that marriage ended (through death or divorce???), she married Julius.
Elvena ERPS (my grandmother), was the child of Anna and John.
There seems to be a connection to a mill of some type where one or both of the brothers worked.
Any information greatly appreciated.
