John Dakin & Susan Laird

John DAKIN married Susan Anna LAIRD and moved to Clinton Cty., IA about 1850. Alexander Laird (brother of Susan Anna Laird) married Jane MILLER, they moved to Clinton Cty., IA about 1850.
Both families are in the 1850 census. John and Susan Dakin's family are listed in the 1860 census also. In 1850 there are 5 children, and in 1860 there are 7 children in the household. I am looking for more information on John Dakin's family, and the children of John and Susan Dakin.
Also, on Jane Miller's relatives. I have information about the Lairds, but welcome any new contacts from Laird relatives.
