Information regarding Dennis Fee and Margaret Cramer

FEE, CRAMER

My great-great grandparents (Dennis Fee and Margaret Cramer) lived in Deep Creek Township from 1856 - 1872. They were married ~1858, and had 5 children between 1860-1872, then moved on to Carroll Co., IA from there. The county has no record of their marriage, and the children were all born before the recording of births began in Iowa (1880). I would very much like to get more information on this family, and believe my only hope lies with parish records, as they were Roman Catholic.

What were the Roman Catholic Parish(es) for Deep Creek Twp. during this time period? I believe it may have been St. Joseph's in DeWitt or possibly St. Iranaeus in Lyons/Clinton, but am not certain. Also was wondering if their parish may actually have been in Jackson Co., since the other two parishes I mentioned (which did exist back then) would have been a considerable distance from Deep Creek Twp.

Any information or advice you can give me here would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.
