In Loving Memory1930 - 2009 CLINTON — Robert H. Mohr, 78, of Clinton, IA, died Thursday, February 5, 2009 at his home in Clinton, IA. Services will be held at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Prince of Peace Parish on Monday, February 9, 2009 at 10:30 AM. Visitation will be at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory on Sunday, February 8, 2009 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, where a 2 PM vigil service will be conducted. Additional visitation will be from 9:30 AM until the service hour Monday at the church. Burial will be in St. Irenaeus Cemetery, where military honors will be conducted. Pallbearers will be Bill Kussner, Todd McCarthy, Larry Parks, Steve LaForge, John Fisher, Tim Solbrig and Gary, Ron and Wayne Paulline. Robert was born August 6, 1930 in Clinton, Iowa the son of Henry and Julia (Zerrien) Mohr. He was a Unites States Navy veteran. Robert married Carol Ann Sieffert August 8, 1959 in Silvis, Illinois. He was a member of Prince of Peace Parish, the Moose Lodge, Fraternal Order of the Eagles and the V.F.W. Robert was employed as an X-ray technician for many years and was the head custodian at Clinton High School for many years and was recipient of the Gold Key Award. Survivors include his wife, Carol of Clinton; daughter, Cynthia (Joel) Kaczinski of Clinton; sons, Kurt (Rebecca) Mohr of Clinton, Dean (Melinda) Mohr of Long Grove, IA and Christian Mohr of Round Rock, TX; grandchildren, Amy, Sydney, Zachary, Jacob, Caleb, Bryce, Trey, Ellyn and Hannah; great-grandchildren, Chloe, Camren and Caleigh; his sister, Dorothy Anderson of Clinton; and nieces and nephews. Robert was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters. Memorials may be made to the Prince of Peace Building Fund.
