FULTON, Ill. — Barbara E. Kramer, 76, of Fulton and formerly of Lanark, Ill., died Sunday at Harbor Crest Nursing Home, Fulton.Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 29, 2009, at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. The Rev. Edie Lenz, pastor of First Reformed Church in Fulton, will be officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 28, 2009, at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Lanark Cemetery, Lanark.Memorials may be made to Harbor Crest Nursing Home and Lanark United Methodist Church, Lanark.She was born June 30, 1932, in Fulton to Ralph and Nancy (Tillema) Slager.She attended rural Whiteside County and Carroll County grade schools and graduated from Morrison High School. She married Arlie Dean Snyder on August 5, 1950, in Morrison, Ill. He died Jan. 3, 1983. She then married Marvin Kramer on November 4, 1989, in Lanark. He survives. Barb was a homemaker and helped her first husband on the farm. She was a former member of Lanark United Methodist Church where she served as secretary for 5 years. She also taught Sunday school and was very active in all church activities. She was a current member of First Reformed Church in Fulton, IL. Barb was an avid golfer and enjoyed traveling with Marvin to his horseshoe tournaments. Survivors include her husband, Marvin; one daughter, Linda (Jim) Ludwig of Lanark, IL; one son, Jeff (Rhonda) Snyder of Baileyville, IL; one stepdaughter, Joan Hook of Morrison, IL; one stepson, Gary (Lisa) Kramer of Fulton, IL; three granddaughters, Karlee Ludwig, Lauren and Sarah Snyder; seven stepgrandchildren, Sara Kramer, Erika Kramer, Kurt Kramer, Todd Kramer, Corey Kramer, Nickie Schmitz, Lisa Schantz; five step great-grandchildren; and one sister, Catherine (Elmer) Temple of Morrison, IL. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Dean; two brothers, Harold Slager and Wilbur Slager; and one sister, Alene Rahn.To send online condolences go to www.bosmarenkes.com.Death date: Jan. 25, 2009
