The Clinton Herald Monday November 27, 1943 p. 10 Miss Bridget Croake, 428 Sixteenth avenue, South, died at 12:45 o'clock this morning in her home after a short illness. The body reposes in the Snyder funeral home and funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock in St. Mary's church with burial in St. Mary's cemetery. Bridget Croake was born in Clinton, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Croake. She was educated in St. Mary's school and studied music. She is survived by three brothers, Andrew, William and John; two sisters, Mrs. Thomas Coleman and Julia Croake and a niece, Mrs. Kathleen Nixon, Clinton. Three nephews with the armed forces also survive, Arthur Ries, somewhere in Italy; William Ries, U.S. marines in the South Pacific and William Coleman, U.S army air corps, England. Preceding her in death were two sisters, Mrs. Anna Dooley and Mrs. Mary Ries and three brothers, Edward, James and George.
