William Leo Ketelsen 1899 - 1943

The Clinton Herald Monday November 27, 1943 p. 10 Leo William Ketelsen, 213 Fouirth avenue, North, died at 2:30 a.m. today in Mercy hospital where he had been a patient but a few hours. The body reposes in the Snyder funeral home pending funeral arrangements. Leo William Ketelsen was born in the old town of Lyons in 1899, son of MIchael and Elizabeth Ketelsen. He was married to Catherine Eagen in 1924 in Clinton and for a number of years he was employed by the Northwestern Railway as a blacksmith in the Clinton shops. Surviving Mr. Ketelsen are his widow and five children, Betty, Richard, Leo Jr., Robert and James Eugene, all of the hime. Surviving also are his father and three brothers, Vernon of Clinton; Arthur of Connecticut and Howard, Rockford, Ill.
