The Clinton Herald Monday December 4, 1899 p. 6 Hans Roenfelt, a well known farmer residing near the 9-mile house, died this morning of kidney disease, from which he had suffered for a long time, aged 65 (63) years. He is survived by a wife and three sons and five daughters. The funeral will be held at the late home Wednesday afternoon at one o’clock.
