Miss Lena Hinrichs born Feb. 17, 1874, died Tuesday at the age of 79 years. Miss Hinrichs was a long time resident of Volga township. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Hinrichs. She never married.

Funeral services were held Friday at 2:00 p.m. from Emmanuel Lutheran church in Elkport, the Rev. F. W. Tillmanns conducting the services. Burial was made in Elkport cemetery.

Pallbearers were Herman Kregel, Louis Hinrichs, William Bruening, Charles Bruening, Herman Dannenbring and Elmer Morarend.

Lena is survived by two brothers, Wm. Hinrichs of Guttenberg and John Hinrichs with whom she made her home in Garber, also ten nieces and nephews.

Lena was preceded in death by a brother John, and three sisters, Mary, Emma and Bertha.
